20 MBureau of Land Management Leases Space at 20 M
Lerner Enterprises has signed a 10-year lease with GSA on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management for 94,435 square feet of office space in Lerner's 20 M Street.  BLM is expected to begin occupying the space in the first quarter of 2010.  The Class A office building was the first building in DC to receive LEED Gold certification for its core and shell.  "We are excited to welcome the Bureau of Land Management to the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood and its daytime population of 35,000 people located in 6.5 million square feet of office space. They join an impressive list of other government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Navy and NAVSEA operations, U.S. Coast Guard, and numerous private sector companies who all enjoy proximity to Capitol Hill and great regional access" says Michael Stevens, Executive Director of the Capitol Riverfront BID.  20 M Street is located across from the Navy Yard Metro exit at Half Street, just blocks from Nationals Ballpark.
