SE/SW Transportation Study Update + Stakeholder Survey

On January 12, 2012, DDOT held the first of a series of public meetings for the M Street SE/SW Transportation Study. The meeting yielded a notable turnout of neighborhood residents and stakeholders. DDOT staff and CH2M Hill consultants, who are assisting with the study, outlined the study scope, schedule, and gathered public feedback during breakout sessions. DDOT's presentation and information about the study can be found here.

Over the next 9 months, the study will identify existing and future transportation issues along the M Street SE/SW corridor and throughout the SE/SW waterfront areas, including the Capitol Riverfront. This study is part of the larger Anacostia Waterfront Initiative, and includes the area from 12th Street, SE to 14th Street, SW and from the Southwest/Southeast Freeway south to the Anacostia River/Washington Channel.

Submit your feedback online about transportation improvements and management in the study area, by filling out DDOT's SE/SW Transportation Study Stakeholder Survey here by 5pm on January 31, 2012.  For further questions or comments, email ddot.awi@dc.gov
