Home School Thursdays - Things that go Zoom!

Are you a home school teacher looking to add history, science and fun to your curriculum? Join the staff of the U.S. Navy Museum as we launch our very first Home School Thursday by discovering the science behind rocketry! The U.S. Navy and America uses rockets everyday, from weapons to jets to sending people in to space. This Home School Thursday, your students will learn about the physics behind rockets, and the ways in which the U.S. Navy utilizes rockets everyday. After a story and lesson, each student will build and launch a straw rocket! Each home school Thursday will begin with reading a story based upon the theme, followed by instruction and a hands-on activity!
