Apartments, condominiums, lofts, and townhouses—the Capitol Riverfront is a diverse urban neighborhood with wide appeal.  There are over 1,700 existing residential units in the Capitol Riverfront and over 1,000 more units delivering by the end of 2009 with a total of 9,000 when the neighborhood achieves build-out.  Within one mile of the heart of the Capitol Riverfront, 25,000+ residents live in well-established communities such as Capitol Hill.  A grocery store and other destination shopping is centered in The Yards, additional restaurants and entertainment venues line Half Street, and the already existing farmers’ market, outdoor movies, concert series animate the neighborhood and create community.
