Neighborhood Development

Washington, DC is one of the most robust economies in the U.S., and this has translated into the biggest building boom in the city’s history. As downtown DC reaches build-out, developers have begun investing in the Capitol Riverfront as the next growth area in the city. The Capitol Riverfront offers several amenities that other competitive locations do not have – close proximity to the U.S. Capitol Building, access to three Metrorail lines and two major highways, a new major league ballpark, four world-class parks and a riverwalk trail system, plus a unique nautical heritage. The Capitol Riverfront is the city’s next great business center, urban neighborhood, baseball and entertainment district, and waterfront destination.
