Capitol Riverfront features Works of Art
kicked off yesterday in the Capitol Riverfront, transforming the former NGA building on the corner of M Street, SE and New Jersey Avenue, SE into a temporary canvas before the building is torn down next year.
Local artist Kelly Towles, along with Jasper Wong and Dabs Myla, are adding their unique graffiti and street art creations to the building through mid-December, providing a unique and continuous art experience for visitors.
Notice the paint on the parking lot? That's an emerging new art installation. Michael Kirby of Murals of Baltimore is currently creating 3D street art in the lot beside the building, and on December 7th and 8th children and families will have the chance to create their own street art masterpieces.
