The Capitol Riverfront BID is pleased to present the inaugural series of artists’ work for display on the Canal Park Glow Cube. Artwork in this series, Art and the Environment, embraces Canal Park’s environmental design and legacy and encourages viewers to consider the human impact on the natural world. The work in this series includes both still and moving images and will be displayed nightly on the Canal Park Glow Cube at 200 M Street SE with panels facing 2nd Street SE, 2nd Place SE and M Street SE from October 5th thru December 17th, 2017.
An opening reception will be held October 5th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm and will include an introduction of the series and the artists, complimentary food and beverage from neighborhood retailers, and tours of Canal Park highlighting its environmental design.
