The DC Duck Race is a fun, family-friendly festival hosted by the Rotary Club of Washington, DC that brings the community together in support of local non-profits and organizations. Members of the community will be able to purchase and “sponsor” ducks that will participate in a race on the historic Anacostia River at Yards Park, thanks in part to a partnership with the Capitol Riverfront BID. The Grand Prize of the race will be 6 days/5 nights - Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic or Cancun in Mexico or a Special Duck Worth $1,000,000! In addition to prizes for the winning ducks, participants will enjoy music and other entertainment, food, activities and much more. The Rotary Club hopes to continue the success of the inaugural DC Duck Race, which provided more than $25,000 in funds to organizations that enhance the health, education, and welfare of children.
