Join your neighbors, friends, and family at one of DC’s premier waterfront destinations for a pre-Independence Day celebration free and open to the public, as the Yards Park boardwalk hosts the Capitol Riverfront BID's first ever July 3rd Jam in conjunction with the National Museum of the United States Navy to honor of America's Birthday.

Headlined by a performance from the U.S. Navy Band at 7:00 pm, the July 3rd Jam will feature live music from Crush Funk Brass Band from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm along with a live DJ, giant moon bounce, festive photo booth, lawn games, glitter tattoos, giveaways, and celebratory concessions for purchase (no outside alcohol permitted).

Stick around Yards Park after the performance to secure one of the best spots in the neighborhood to watch the Washington Nationals Freedom Fireworks following the baseball game.
