Orangetheory Fitness Head Trainer Tim Williams

Orangetheory Fitness head trainer Tim Williams is always up for a challenge and enjoys living life to its fullest. Having been an athlete while growing up, Tim took his high school running to another level by eventually becoming a professional runner, sponsored by IMG, True Athlete, and Nike.

Although an injury ended his running career early, Tim knew he could still live a healthy lifestyle while motivating others. He started working as a trainer, encouraging others to reach their fitness goals. Once Tim discovered Orangetheory Fitness, he never looked back. He has been with Orangetheory Fitness for two years now and couldn't be more excited for the opening of their new Capitol Riverfront location.

How would you describe the Capitol Riverfront to friends/visitors?

The Capitol Riverfront has something for everyone. The neighborhood is trendy and modern yet family-friendly and safe.

What is your favorite place in the neighborhood?

Other than Orangetheory, I absolutely love the waterfront. My favorite place to hang is Agua 301. I highly recommend the frozen peach sangria!

As a trainer, you’re quite health-conscious. What are some of your favorite healthy restaurant options in the neighborhood, and what do you like to order?

Sweetgreen is definitely one of my favorite, and I’m a big fan of the Harvest Bowl adding avocado and egg.

What is your favorite Capitol Riverfront event?

Nationals baseball games
