Pride Month Happenings in Capitol Riverfront

Happy Pride Month! We've compiled all the fun ways you can celebrate around town this year right here in this one-stop-shop blog post. Don't forget to check back throughout the month of June as we continue to add more specials and events.

GATSBY

GATSBY, an LGBTQ+-owned business, is toasting to love and equality on Saturday, June 12th and Sunday, June 13th with a portion of proceeds from every punch cocktail purchased going towards Capital Pride Alliance and other LGBTQ+ charities. That same fundraiser can be found at other Knead Hospitality + Design establishments as well. 1201 Half St, SE

Maxwell Park

In honor of Pride Month, Maxwell Park will be serving up a delicious Rainbow Dolin Spritz all month long. 1346 4th St, SE

Steadfast Supply

Pick up from Steadfast Supply a Bailiwick Pride face mask, a card or mug displaying everyone’s favorite member of the Fab Five of the famed show Queer Eye, Jonathan Van Ness, or buy Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights for the little one in your life to learn about fighting for equality. 301 Tingey St, SE

VIDA Fitness

Twice the fun -- VIDA Fitness is celebrating Pride this year with a limited edition tee shirt featuring the Progress Pride flag and a DC Black Pride pool party fundraiser on Friday, June 11th and Saturday, June 12th starting at 8:00 pm. The Progress Pride flag incorporates the traditional rainbow you normally see, the blue, pink, and white stripes from the transgender flag, and black and brown stripes to symbolize the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. At the weekend pool party, take a dip in the pool and sip on some cocktails in support of a good cause -- the celebration of the African-American lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. 1212 4th St, SE
