"The new restaurant is the latest concept from Georgetown Events, a DC-based restaurant/bar/events group headed by Bo Blair. The company has numerous other area restaurants including several Jetties sandwich shops (five locations), Surfside in Glover Park, Bayou and Smith Point in Georgetown and the Something Sweet Bakery in NW DC. Their other food/drink-related projects include the operations of the Half Street Fairgrounds and The Bullpen just outside of Nationals Park, the periodic, seasonal Truckeroo events there, as well as Millie’s Restaurant and Bar and Millie’s Market, both located on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. Rusty Holman, executive chef of Bayou, is a partner as well as executive chef at Due South." - Forest City Washington
