DC Jazz Festival will return to the Capitol Riverfront Friday, June 16th through Sunday, June 18th this year. DC JazzFest at The Yards will be held in Yards Park and presented at the Capitol Riverfront Stage overlooking the Anacostia River. Fans will enjoy jazz music from today's top artists, beginning with a free concert on Friday, June 16th in conjunction with the Capitol Riverfront Summer Concert Series. The Friday concert will feature two stellar vocalists: Lori Williams and Nigerian-British man of song, Ola Onabulé.

Artists scheduled to perform at ticketed events on Saturday, June 17th include Robert Glasper Experiment and the perennial poll-winning saxophonist Kenny Garrett, along with rising star Kandace Springs. Sunday, June 18th promises more spectacular music on the riverfront with the people's choice and Grammy-winning vocalist Gregory Porter, the exciting hip-hop group Black Violin, the 2016 DCJazzPrix winning band the New Century Jazz Quintet, and Korean sensation pianist Youngjoo Song.
