An indoor/outdoor Bavarian style beer garden is planned for 720 L Street, SE at the corner of 8th and L Streets, SE.  There will be roughly 100 seats inside with another 200 outside as well as a roof deck.  There are plans to have 20 different beers on tap as well as a mix of home style and gourmet food.  The beer garden is targeted to open in late 2012 or 2013.
