Anticipated Completion: 2009
Diamond Teague Park is a new 39,000 SF public plaza with water taxi and public piers at the terminus of First Street at the Anacostia River across from Nationals Park. Half of the landscaped park will be completed in 2009 with the remainder of the public plaza to be completed when Florida Rock Properties' Adjacent development, RiverFront on the Anacostia is completed. The new water taxi piers and public piers for canoes and kayacks have been completed. Information on water-taxi service is below.
Water taxi charter service is available during Nationals home games from Diamond Teague Park. Below is a list of providers that service the piers at Diamond Teague Park. For the Nationals 2010 season, you must contact a provider below to purchase a ticket in advance for a chartered trip.
