The 41,888 seat facility along the Anacostia River is home to the Washington Nationals Baseball Club and includes a number of exciting fan amenities including luxury suites, club level seating, restaurant/sport bar, picnic area, family plaza, public art and more, while also striving to be the most environmentally friendly MLB ballpark ever. It is the first LEED certified stadium in the country. Nearly 2 million patrons visited the ballpark in 2009.
The Park has also hosted concerts by Billy Joel and Elton John, events such as Opera in the Outfield and in 2010 will host the Dave Matthews Band.
