Planning & Development Manager
Before joining the Capitol Riverfront BID, Jeff completed a four-year run at the Mayors’ Institute on City Design where, as program director, he provided technical assistance on city development and urban design projects through direct engagement with over 100 mayors and cities across the country. His passion for cities, urban innovation, and real estate development is underpinned by cross-sector and multi-scale experience at Fortune 200 global real estate company CBRE on the Amazon enterprise account; leading real estate and economic development consulting firm HR&A Advisors; development policy arm of the US Environmental Protection Agency (Smart Growth Program); and popular urban planning news website Planetizen. A graduate of MIT, Jeff holds dual master’s degrees in real estate development and city planning with a focus on urban design. He serves on the committees of the AIA DC, ULI Washington, and National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board. Jeff enjoys reading on the Metro and getting around DC on a scooter.
