Public Realm Director
With an eclectic background including law, real estate investment, property management, and studio art, Susan brings a multifaceted approach to the BID as Public Realm Director, working diligently to make the neighborhood clean and vibrant, and establishing the Capitol Riverfront Parks Foundation. Her current duties include overseeing the BID Clean Team and public art, as well as reviewing legislation, policies, and regulations impacting streetscape and public realm operations. Susan received her JD from the Scalia School of Law at George Mason University in Arlington and has been in the DC area off and on since 2001. Her family, including her husband and three kids, enjoy the vibrant park offerings like the Canal Basin and Friday Night Concert Series provided by the BID.
